The Beginning

So I'm not completely sure what direction I would like to take my blog, but I know that I'd like to start one.  I've always enjoyed expressing my analytical outlook on life, sharing things I've learned, and communicating with other people, so it's worth a try. Plus, now that I've moved away from home, it will be a good way to keep my family and friends up-to-date on what I'm up to. :)

First, some background on me -
My name is Megan and I was born and raised in Dayton, OH.  I have a large family and I am so blessed that they are the most amazing people I know! I went to college at The Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor in Mathematics.  I'm still unsure of what I want to do with my life, but I know it's going to involve helping people.  I worked as a personal banker with Chase before I moved with my husband, Mitch, to Columbus AFB, MS where he is training to be a pilot for the USAF.  Though I loved the part of my job where I was able to help people financially, the sales part of the job was something I knew wouldn't be for me in the long-term.  Hopefully in the process of having this blog I'll discover more about myself and find out what career path I should follow.
What I do know about myself - I enjoy learning creative ways to accomplish tasks, I love being organized and clean, I am super competitive but hate sore losers, I appreciate simple things the most, I love how photography can capture beauty otherwise unseen, and I will always talk as long as it takes to feel I've gotten my point across. :)

Some inspirational food for thought....
"The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique." - Walt Disney
